Description

An excellent companion to our Troublewits, this 16 page booklet (incl covers) provides a collection of routines and shapes that will provide – at the very least – an excellent learning and practice resource. With an introduction by Supreme’s founder Edwin Hooper (see below) the following pages present “A New Troublewit Routine” by Ken de Courcy, and three further routines “in rhyme” by Bill West.

An excerpt from Edwin’s introduction:

Trouble-wit is an old but never-the-less fascinating form of entertainment. With a little practice you will find that you can slickly fold and refold the pleated sheet of paper into all kinds of fascinating shapes, the description of which is only limited by your imagination. Here is something always new, for Trouble-wit is so easily topicalised. Shapes in the past, have suggested Davy Crocket hats, Beatles’ hair-cuts, Spacemen’s helmets – and so we can go on. Look at the headlines in the paper tomorrow and you’ll probably find that you can make a Trouble-wit shape to illustrate it!
